UPDATE: False emails sent in the name of FischFayot

Compliance, News and comments

July 3rd, 2019 – It appears from feedback from less than 10 persons and companies outside of FischFayot (all based in Luxembourg) that the forged emails have been sent out through our servers and received by outside parties on July 2nd, 2019 at 2:46 PM (Luxembourg time).

Our IT security has immediately blocked all of our MS Office 365 accounts and has forced the reset of all user email passwords.

We have at present no indication of further emails sent after July 2nd, 2019 at 2:46 PM but we are still working on it to find out.

We wish to thank these persons and companies for having checked the authorship of the forged emails with us.

We have not had any feedback that persons have accessed the document to which a link was contained in the forged email.

Thank you for your understanding and apologies for any inconvenience.

July 2nd, 2019 – Our professional email system has been compromised and misused by hackers this afternoon (July 2nd, 2019) to send out several forged emails written in Luxembourgish containing a link to a document (“Fisch Fayot Proposal”).

FischFayot is not the author of these emails.

We advise you not to reply to any such email and not to provide any information to anyone based on this email.

We are advised by professionals to solve the issue and will post updates on this website.

Thank you for your understanding and apologies for any inconvenience.
